No matter what our faith, as we light a candle,
let us remember that even on the longest of nights,
the light shines in the Darkness.
The Darkness cannot comprehend the light, yet neither can the Darkness overcome the Light.
In whatever way is available to us,
may each of us make a decision to be the light.
